30th Feast of San Daniele in Prato Bellincioni

Our traditional summer festival is back again this year! You can only get to your destination on foot, to enjoy the beauty of the forest and its silence to the fullest without the constant passage of cars.

A promise made during the Second World War when the inhabitants of Val Sestaione crossed the ridge at Prato Bellincioni, to escape the German troops, taking refuge in Lucca where they found friendship and solidarity.

Here the two countries swore that at the end of the conflict they would meet again in this wonderful place to remember the fallen and to celebrate the end of hostilities.

Today, that promise continues to endure, bringing these two sides together in a single party, full of fun and nature

Prato Bellincioni is a splendid natural terrace within the biogenic forest of Pian degli Ontani, where the goliardic and friendly atmosphere, together with special dishes prepared directly on site by our staff, will make you spend a beautiful day.
