Day of the Living Museum with representation of ancient crafts

Like every year, on the last Sunday of July, the Day of the Living Museum returns to Rivoreta.

Thanks to the Associazione Museo della Gente dell’Appennino Pistoiese, the objects kept in the museum come to life and animate the streets of the town.
In every corner, ancient and skilful gestures tell of traditional crafts and knowledge: laundry with ashes, the weaving of cavagno, the spinning of wool, the preparation of butter, the grinding of cereals.
