A nice excursion to admire one of the most evocative places in the Apennines up to the slopes of Mount Libro Aperto and then a lunch in the woods at the “Casetta di Lapo” refuge. A walk to discover the woods of our Apennines, a nice route to take to spend an evocative and alternative experience in the woods, with many stories and curiosities about Abetone, the flora and fauna typical of our woods! To reach the highest part we will provide you with SHOE CRAMPONS to prevent slipping. Itinerary description: We will start from the former cross-country track that starts just above the Abetone pass and then enter the woods following part of the CAI 00 and Monte Maiori trails. We will arrive at the Casetta di Lapo where we will stop for lunch (all outdoors). After the break, the trek continues towards the starting point, a circular itinerary.

The guide reserves the right to modify the itinerary, in the event that it is assessed that there are not ideal conditions for its realization and the safety of the participants.
